What's Involved

The Conscious Mind

In brief we are using about 5 to 10% of our minds. The part that we are using of the mind is the conscious mind. We use the conscious mind in our wake state. It is related to our physical body and therefore deals with our external world. It is the portion of the mind that we use every day in our daily activities. It deals with everything going on around us in our work, family, friends, and relationships. It operates in conjunction with our five outer senses of sight, smell, hear, taste and touch, and all opinions or perceptions concluded here are based on our external existence. It is logical, analytical and rational. It can choose what it accepts as information given to it, or rejects it, and it is fueled by our external programming and the happenings of the external world. It is responsible for thought, reckoning and actions performed under complete control. The language of the conscious mind is human language, it takes in information, and analyses and processes it to form a perception that is based on our external environment and programmed beliefs. This filters through to our subconscious mind.

The Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind, along with the unconscious mind, are facets of the mind that we are unfamiliar with. The subconscious is our passageway to the unconscious realms of our mind. The subconscious is an extremely powerful mind. It remains in its original pure natural state of innocence and takes everything presented to it as fact. It is the storehouse of our entire past. Everything that has ever been said to us, done to us and every event, traumatic or not, every moment of every memory is stored in this mind and this content creates our persona and outlook towards life and our reactions to life. It belongs to our internal world. Its language is different to that of the conscious mind; its language remains in symbolic pictures and specific words emphasised with expressions that create vibrations of emotions and feelings, these feelings are the language of the subconscious. It includes our sixth sense or intuition. It operates on the same level as our thoughts and feelings and through our autonomic nervous system (which controls our involuntary or natural functions of our physical body, such as our heartbeat and breath).

Because we have not cleansed and purified it, at this point in time, our mind, is running on autopilot, thinking, feeling and thereby repeating, creating and instructing our mind with the old, outdated information, from the storehouse of the past, which creates our flawed persona and outlook to life. This creats havoc in our lives and keeps us stuck in old behavioural patterns, of negativity, when we should be purifying and feeding it with new thoughts, words and feelings on how we wish to believe, see and react towards life.

This is created through the specific Yoga Nidra visualisations taught on this course which are used to change the way we react to and see life. Unlike the conscious mind, the subconscious is rational-free, analytical free and logic free. It does not know right from wrong, and simply takes all information sent to it, in its language pictures, feelings and words as FACT. The pictures and words used in the scripts are interictally designed using objects which create higher vibration feelings that are then fed to the subconscious, creating higher vibration outlooks to life. If the interference of the conscious mind is removed through using the scientific techniques of the mind used in Yoga Nidra, we can imprint suggestions in the positive as though it has already happened and the subconscious will take it as fact immediately and with repetition our outlook to life is altered, to that which we want to see. If we feed it with images of things we do not want to happen and add feelings of fear, worry and anxiety, this is what we receive as our life experience.

If we feed it with images of what we truly desire and add feelings of happiness, joy, trust, faith and love to that, this will be our experience. If we have been abused as a child or raised in dysfunctional families, lost a parent at a very young age or any other fearful experience, this is stored in the subconscious and is part of our existing persona, our outlook to life and how we react. If we consider all the things that have been lodged in that mind, especially low vibrational experience, we can get a small glimpse of why our outlooks or attitudes are obscured. Repetition is another imperative language of the subconscious mind as it is creating new neural pathways which have to be repeated over and over until the new pathway is created.

Training

The training includes scientific mind training techniques for developing happy, strong, balanced minds and emotions in children through yoga postures, breath extension techniques, using specific vibration techniques and the powerful practice of Yoga Nidra. There are specific techniques, words, expressions and symbolic pictures that create feelings, which is the language of the subconscious mind, and if woven in an intricate, distinctive way, can calm stress, anxiety, depression and instil lasting inner peace. The training will also prove effective in releasing trauma, developing creativity, strengthening imagination, and boosting concentration and thus let our children live happy and freely as the creators of our future generation.
